BIG ARTS, originally founded as the Barrier Island Group for the Arts, was created by and for the Sanibel community over 40 years ago. Rooted in the belief that the arts connect us and awaken the creativity within, BIG ARTS remains dedicated to celebrating our shared humanity through artistic expression.

Each season, BIG ARTS offers a dynamic mix of live performances, visual arts exhibitions, independent films, lectures, and interactive workshops. Whether your passion lies in music, dance, theater, painting, photography, or lifelong learning, you will find inspiring programs for all ages and interests.
