Isabel on the bay is fantastic. We stayed for a month. The house was very clean, as was the heated pool, and yard. We love the island. It was just a great place to kick back and relax. Kim and her crew did everything to make the stay more enjoyable. Can't wait to get back next year.

Breaking Away was exactly what we were looking for — a beautiful, well equipped home close to the beach. We loved the separate cabana suite which offered privacy for our guests. It's a wonderful place to entertain family and friends. The pool and lanai area had complete privacy from neighbors — we literally felt we were surrounded by jungle!The private beach access was fabulous — we could walk to the beach, or bring a car filled with beach equipment with our parking pass. The beach is beautiful and very, very private compared to most of Sanibel's beaches. We will definitely return and create many more family memories at Breaking Away!!

The condo was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed!  Sanibel is definitely still recovering from Ian but we made the most of it. Looking forward to returning and seeing more progress on the island as it continues to recover.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay by the beach! The unit was perfect for our family including my parents, my wife and I, and our 2 boys. The unit had everything we needed - a well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and ample space for us all to have our own space. My boys loved the proximity to the beach and the twin and trundle bed was their "hang out" space! After having visited Sanibel Island many times in the past, witnessing the devastation from Hurricane Ian first-hand was incredible, but the island is rebuilding and the beaches, amazing sea shells and awesome people are still there! We look forward to returning in the years to come and hope to have the opportunity to stay once again at Cyprina Beach. The location, amenities and ease of renting through Breakaway was all we could have every wanted!

Great week in Sanibel. We very much enjoyed the condo and it's views and closeness to the water and the island treats. Some minor issues with the condo were addressed by the rental agents. Considering all the island issues recovering from the storm, we felt very fortunate to be in a very nice unit.

Was our first trip back since Ian. The home recently went through a makeover and they did a very nice job. We had 7 adults and it was a little tight for sleeping space but it was still very comfortable. We didn’t have the nicest weather this trip and this place was wonderful for everyone hanging out visiting/cooking/playing games. Made lots of meals and had plenty of dishes and everything needed for cooking for a family of 7. The boardwalk to the beach was in great shape. Pool was clear but lots of sand/dirt in pool. Understandable due to the weather. We’ve been coming to Sanibel Island for a number of years now and this is one our favorites yet. Thanks for a great stay!

Just returned from a wonderful week in Sanibel with my kids and grandkids. Cyprina Beach #1 was the perfect place for us. Each family had their own bedroom and bathroom, the swimming pool was only steps away, and the beach was easily accessible. The beach chairs, sand toys, beach towels, umbrella, and wagon provided were a major convenience. We can't wait to go back!

Thanks to Gabby at Breakaway check-in was very easy. The property was exactly as advertised. The pool, the beach and the condo were perfect for my four young grandchildren, their parents and my wife and I. Everything we needed was on the island. Fortunately we left days before hurricane Ian. Hopefully the island will recover quickly.

The place was beautiful. The walkway to the beach was well maintained. Pool was cleanest we have ever stayed in, been staying on Sanibel for 20+years. The ground could have been maintained a little better, grass cut, bushes trimmed but besides that everything was fantastic and beautiful.

Spent the week with forever friends at this awesome townhouse. Plenty of space for all of us! Easy access to beach and pool with great views from the lanai! The unit was well stocked with beach chairs and umbrellas. Definitely plan on returning to this sweet spot!

We have vacationed on Sanibel 4 times so far at different locations on the island. Our stay at Cyprina beach was wonderful! The condo was as advertised-large, open and comfortable. A good location and family friendly. Really enjoyed having a wagon, beach chairs and umbrellas to use. We would return to this location.

Our unit could not have been better. 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms each with showers which easily handled our 6 adults and two children. Large open area connecting kitchen, dining and living room made for a great common area allowing everyone to stay connected. The wrap around lanai which opens up to the common area made for a huge unbroken space. Also the unit is the closest to the ocean and the pool in this small quiet complex so we easily went back and forth to both all day long. We have vacationed on Sanibel for 40 years and we feel this part of Sanibel has the nicest beach. In those 40 years this is the nicest place we have stayed.

Cyprina Beach #1 was exactly as described and a great place to enjoy our stay at Sanibel!! We loved the open living area and the screened in balcony was amazing. Everything was clean and in good shape. We enjoyed having the good beach chairs and wagon and almost anything you would need to enjoy the beach! The beach is closer than it appears in the picture and the walkway makes it easy to get to the best beach. Hope to stay here again and again. Breakaway Vacation Properties was the best. Kept us informed before and during our stay! Definitely a 5 star ⭐️

My family has been coming to Sanibel Island for 40 years! We absolutely love Cyprina Beach condos and have stayed in several different units. Cyprina #1 is gorgeous-with breathtaking views of the Gulf! The condo was perfect, except there wasn't anywhere to hang our clothes in the master bedroom, since the large closet was locked. Otherwise-this unit was incredible!

I just recently returned from my stay at Cyprina Beach #1. The experience was even better than I had hoped. The unit was very clean and well maintained upon our arrival. All of the beds were comfy and everyone slept peacefully each night. The beach itself is just a short walk down the boardwalk and that daily commute was so much better than the one I have at home. Having a private beach was so relaxing. We never felt crowded from nearby guests, but were still able to make friends with some of the other guests staying in nearby locations. It's a short walk (less than a mile) down to the lighthouse and I made that trip twice. Shelling at the beach was ideal. We did go down to Captiva a couple of times for shells, but we were able to take advantage of low tide to find some great shells right outside the unit. The entire Cyprina Beach compound is well maintained and we never felt crowded by other guests/residents. The pool was perfect and we usually used it for our afternoon dips rather than go to the beach. We did have a baby with us and the pool was easier to use for him. We had 5 adults, a teen, and an infant and we never felt crowded in the unit. Even the teen had places within the unit, he could escape to in order to watch YouTube or play some video games. I came back from this vacation feeling more relaxed than any trip I have been on in years.

Everything about this house was wonderful! It was very clean and well-appointed. The location, just steps from the pool or beach, was exactly what we were looking for! This was a girl's getaway for longtime friends and we enjoyed the house, the patio/deck, and the ability to cook in the very nice kitchen. We hope to return soon!!!

My husband and I traveled to Sanibel Island for the first time for a little weekend escape for our anniversary. We absolutely loved our townhouse! The decor was beautiful and beachy and everything was super clean. The location was perfect! My husband fished while I spent my days collecting seashells. We can't wait to come back!

Of all our trips to Sanibel, this is by far the best place we have stayed. It's right on the beach. The view is stunning. The accommodations are very nice and there is an enclosed garage.

The views are breathtaking. The condo is decorated beautifully and comfortably furnished. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen and the garage provided plenty of room for parking as well as storage. For our family of 3 generations in one unit, it was perfect!

We decided this year to stay for two weeks on Sanibel at Golden Beach. Best idea ever ~ not a drop of rain the entire time. We loved our comfy and clean accommodations right on the beach and proximity to our favorite dining areas. Can't wait until next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Golden Beach #3. The house was very clean and well stocked and was the perfect accommodation for our two families. Having two "master" bedrooms overlooking the water is a plus - we had two children use the twin bedroom; the other two used the pull out couch and an air mattress that we brought with us. Rotating between lounging and shelling on the beach to relaxing in the pool and bike riding for ice cream made for a perfect isolated escape. We highly recommend renting from Kim at Breakaway Vacations and look forward to our return to Sanibel.

We really enjoyed our stay Feb 2025. The condo was roomy, clean and exceptionally stocked with everything one would need. Very short walk to beach. Was a very short drive or bike ride to many of Sanibel restaurants. We were especially thrilled to have access to bicycles which my wife and I made great use of many times during our stay. The check in process was simple and timely. Very nice experience, would definitely come back for a stay in the future.

My husband and I have stayed on the island for the past seven years. We own a time share near the lighthouse that is being rebuilt after Hurrican Ian. We looked around for a place to stay this year and a dear travel agent friend found this one. IT WAS AMAZING! The photos were beautiful and it was even better in person. It literally had everything you would need. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything - dishes, utensils, appliances, silverware and even serving dishes. The storage closet had a beach umbrella, chairs and even beach bikes. If you are looking for a stress-free vacation spot - this is it! We met the property manager and he was so helpful and friendly and suggested a few places to eat. For a relaxing vacation - choose Compass Point 222!

You can tell much thought has been put into decorating and stocking this condo. It was a respite to which we could retreat. Will visit again

This was our first stay on the island, and to say it didn’t disappoint would be a gross understatement. My husband isn’t much of a beach guy (after two years in a row of vacations out West to the mountains, it was time for a beach trip for me!) and even he enjoyed it. The island is so laid back, calm, and not packed like all the other beach towns I have been to. The condo was fairly easy to find, impeccably clean upon arrival, and outfitted with everything you could need for a beach vacation. Honestly, if we had known how much was already there waiting for us, we would have packed much less! Never had to wait long on the elevator, pool was clean and enjoyable for the few times the beach was no good for swimming. The washer and dryer were a huge help; it’s been so nice to come home and not have tons of laundry to catch up on. I called Breakaway twice after reserving this condo; once to make sure of a stocking/furnishing detail before our trip and once during our trip to ask about parking. Both times my questions were answered quickly and efficiently, with easygoing kindness. We never had to talk to anyone to check in or out. The key code on the door was incredibly convenient; we didn’t have to take keys anywhere. The bikes in the storage closet were an unexpected bonus; our family doesn’t bike much because where we live it’s very hilly. But we ended up riding them the last four evenings of our stay, even riding to MudBugs for dinner one evening. The evening bike rides, however unanticipated, will likely be some of our fondest memories of this vacation. We were very conveniently located, and while we visited several other beaches during our stay, the beach in front of the condo could not be topped. The beach entry is not steep and the shelling was better there than anywhere else we found. There was construction going on during our stay (courtesy of Ian) but it never started early, never ran late, and never negatively impacted our stay.  Again, compared to other beaches I’ve been to, it was very low on people….which is so nice! That’s it.  We are so looking forward to our next visit in coming years….if it were up to me, we would go back this winter and see what it’s like then! Until next time, Sanibel.

Loved being back in Sanibel. Our stay at the condo was great. Still some work being done, but nothing that kept us from walking to the beach. Beds were comfortable and kitchen and laundry were both pluses. Televisions were easy to navigate. We will go back again.

This condo was perfect! All bathrooms were remodeled and the kitchen/butler pantry were well stocked. The location was another bonus - short walk to the beach. Our family absolutely enjoyed our vacay and would definitely come back here. Everyone loves Sanibel!

Beautiful condo with partial ocean view from balcony. Easy access, condowas spotless, kitchen well stocked with utensils. 1299 Middle Gulf is just over a mile walk to bike rentals and restaurants. Washer and dryer was handy.Generous heated pool with plenty of chairs. As of January 2024there is still a lot of hurricane related renovations going on at Compass Point and at adjacent properties, but we knew that going in and it did not impact our stay.

We loved this place. My daughter and her friend enjoyed being at the pool everyday and playing pickle ball on the courts. We felt as if it was our resort as there were so few people around. The grounds were kept up and very nicely landscaped. We will definitely go thru Breakaway again to rent this property …. As our experience staying at this condo and working with this property manager was definitely a 5 Star experience.

We loved our stay here, the beds were exceptional, the kitchen well equip with everything we needed and having all four bikes was a huge savings . We are looking forward to our next visit here. The property manager was also very helpful with our check in check out information. There is nothing more we could ask for.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Compass Point 222! The condo was beautiful and felt extremely spacious. It was very well stocked with dishware, glassware, appliances, bicycles, games, and beach umbrellas. They really seemed to have everything we needed for an enjoyable week at the beach. The location was perfect as it overlooked the pool and was just a short walk to the beach where white sand, blue-green water, and beautiful shells prevailed. We had several family members staying at other condominiums on the beach, and everyone agreed that ours by far was the best! I highly recommend staying at Compass Point 222!

We loved it here! It was so relaxing and peaceful. If your looking for a condo that is not very busy, you don't have to wait for elevator, worry about grabbing a spot at the pool or worry about where you can park… this is the place for you and your family. The four bikes were also something that was a big perk as that saved us a lot of money not having to rent bikes in town. Two of them were brand new. We also enjoyed the beach toys, games and chairs that they supplied. The property management company did an excellent job communicating and helping us enjoy it even more.

This condo worked so well for our family of three. It had a large great room with ample seating, a large dining room table and a fully functional kitchen. Large sliding glass doors opened to a screened-in lanai with seating. The condo has two large bedrooms with en-suite baths and ceiling fans. The full-size washer and dryer came in handy. Lastly, the unit has a storage shed with four beach cruisers that we used everyday. We loved riding the bike paths, stopping at Bailey's on the way home and having a comfortable evening. We had a great week staying here.

We booked thru Breakaway Vacations and they were exceptional to work with. Very easy check in and check out. Great communication all the way thru and we were very happy also with their housecleaning and care for this condo. We would definitely stay at this property again and book thru Breakaway. This condo couldn't be more peaceful, clean and relaxing… it was just what the doctor ordered. We had the best time, almost as if we had the place to our self. We loved how close the condo was to town and anything else we decided to do or not. We used the four bikes, beach chairs and water toys everyday which was a real cost savings as they came with the condo. We will definitely come back to this condo.

My wife and I travel often and this is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The pictures were representative of the place and it was extremely clean and comfortable. The complex has a great pool and awesome beach access and the unit storage room came with bikes and beach chairs. We biked everywhere on the island which made it nice. We will definitely be back.

The condo is just beautiful! Very comfortable from the hotel bedding down to the Williams and Sonoma spatulas. Very, very clean and comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay thereabouts. We did not want to leave!

We loved staying here and already planning to come back again next year. This condo has been completely updated and was a wonderful place for all of us to enjoy and relax. Besides having a view of the gulf you can also see a view of the pool. We loved biking all over the island with the bikes that came with the condo. It was a truly enjoyable place we look forward to coming back to again.

It is the best room, you need to look no further!We truly enjoyed our stay here this was our first time staying at compass pointe 222, the pictures looked amazing and the room did not disappoint in person. Upon arrival the room was nice and cool which is a big plus in my eyes as you adjust to the Florida heat! The room was well equipped with all kinds of things: everything from the all clad cookware, blender, coffee maker, toaster every dish you could imagine, nice glasses , wine glasses, coffee mugs,plates, plates for outside, every kind of utensil you need- seriously even down to chip clips and oven mitts!The room is very spacious and really enjoyed sprawling out. We did not use the guestroom as it was just us two but it was a lovely size. The master bedroom had the most comfortable bed I think I've ever slept in! The master bedroom also has access to the lanai and an en suite. There are plenty of comfortable bedding available as well as pillows. I was most impressed when I had to stop by the office, to see that all the bedding is seriously laundered professionally I could see it all in big bags filled up with comforters sheets etc. I always hate staying somewhere and wondering if the comforter has been washed.The other bathroom not in the master bathroom was nice to have as it helped to expedite showers.It has a nice laundry room with a Maytag washer and dryer upon arrival there were a few laundry tabs for us to use as well as dishwasher tabs dish soap a few rolls of toilet paper etc.We also really enjoyed the dining room table Comfortably fit six people.The lanai was lovely you can see the ocean from it and it has a nice lounger and table that seats four you can walk out to the lanai from the master bedroom and the living room both.The owner also keeps not only the condo well-stocked but also the supply closet number 14 it had every kind of beach toy you could need in there everything from water shoes to pool floats for kids and adults four bicycles a rolling cart to bring items to the beach, Shell sticks, and lots and lots of chairs for the beach! There was also a cooler in there that was very helpful for keeping water cold when we went to the beach the room also has an icemaker and you can get free ice right from your own room.The beach is just several steps from your room there is also an elevator to take to get you to this room, don't be confused when looking for it because from outside the ground level is really not floor one but the elevator you can hit two and it takes you to your floor.Also pro tip, sundial which is just a few complexes down the road has a mini Bailey's grocery store in case you need eggs coffee creamer or something.Besides the room being beautifully and modernly decorated it also offered puzzles, books to read, cards to play and a few games. You could definitely cook there just like you would at home as there was a crockpot, cookie sheets, mixing beaters everything! If you are into barbecuing there are two barbecues located by the pool and shuffleboard court we did not use them but the room also has a really nice barbecue tools meat thermometer platters and plastic drink containers both pictures and water bottles.Hope I have not missed anything I wanted to say! In conclusion pick this room, you will not be disappointed!

It was our first time visiting Sanibel Island Florida. We were pleasantly surprised with Compass Point condo that we booked for this trip. It's a really nice 2 bedroom, well maintained condo. Right near the beach. We even had 4 bicycles included, to explore the Island. Very happy with this accommodation.

We had an amazing time here. The beds were so comfortable, everything has been updated and given a fresh look. You are only minutes from the beach, with a view of the beach right from the unit. Having the four bikes that come with this rental saved a lot of money as we didn't have to rent any bikes. We also enjoyed the selection of beach chairs and toys that came with the unit. I would definitely come back.

My sisters, mom, and I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful condo for a full week. Everything from the decorations, comfortable beds, amenities and cleanliness of the condo was beyond our expectations. The condo provided 4 beach bikes that turned our lack of a car rental into a memorable and adventurous positive during our trip. They also provided chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler that made our trips to the beach very enjoyable. To the beach from our condo was a very short walk and the pool was right out our front door. Annie at Break-Away Vacations was so warm and welcoming. She let us know that our condo was ready early and checked in a few times throughout our stay to ensure we were good to go for check in and departure! I would recommend this condo and this management property over and over again. We will definitely be looking at renting it in the future!

We truly enjoyed our stay in 222 Compass Point Sanibel. The condo is overly roomy for 2 couples, and beautifully furnished and well equipped for your stay. The quality of the beds, linens and culinary supplies/chinaware/stemware all top tier! Close to the pool, a pristine beach steps away and we enjoyed the privacy of the screened balcony with Gulf breezes every evening. An excellent value, we hope to return next year. Clean well appointed wish I could get for a month in 2022

We had a wonderful vacation here in Sanibel at Compass Point. This condo was very relaxing, quiet and we loved all the new fresh updates on all the furnishings, new mattresses and bedding. Having all three TV’s with Netflix in both the bedrooms and great room allowed us to all have our quiet time, which was well needed. We had a blast exploring the island on the four bikes that the owner allows you to use for free. That was a very nice perk and cost savings to us as we thought we would have to rent bikes for the week. We also enjoyed the cooler, beach chairs, umbrellas’s and sand toys that were supplied. The property manager was very helpful and responsive to our needs every time we needed any help. I would highly recommend renting here.

I would highly recommend staying here. This property is lovely and all the new touches made our stay fantastic... such as the large screen TV in great room, new bedding and full size mattress in the guest room. We also enjoyed use of the 4 bikes the rental had to offer as well as all the beach chairs and toys. The condo is not large so there was never an issue trying to fight for a chair at the pool or wait for the tennis courts or shuffle board game. The view of the gulf, and the listening to the waves was a wonderful way to start and stop everyday. It was hard to leave this heavenly place. The crew at Breakaway did a fantastic job making our stay perfect in every way.

We really enjoyed our stay in Sanibel and loved our 2 bedroom condo. I've been coming to Sanibel for 25 years but this was my first time at Compass Point. It was so nice in many ways! We loved the decor and the layout of the place. It was very clean and seemed brand new. The location was convenient and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful girls getaway!!

Our stay at Compass Point on Sanibel Island was nothing short of amazing. The condo unit was comfortable, had plenty of space for our family of five, and was well-maintained. The complex itself was right on the ocean and there was a short walk down the boardwalk to the oceanfront. The complex provided wagons for the use of the guests for transporting items from their cars or right up to the boardwalk, and there were usually several bikes available for guests who want to explore the island in that way. We had one plumbing issue when we first arrived, but maintenance arrived within the hour and took care of it. Communication was good with management, as they responded very quickly to our needs. In all, it was a great visit and I highly recommend the condominiums at Compass Point and Breakaway Vacations.

The condo unit is very spacious, comfortable and accommodating. We had a wonderful mother daughter get away this past week. Weather was great, the condo unit exceeded our expectations. Looking forward to coming back.

We were so happy with our decision to stay here. The condo was spotless when we arrived. Very peaceful atmosphere throughout the entire property. Enjoyed beautiful sunrises every morning from the beach. The pool was very clean and kept at a perfect temperature. We would absolutely rent this condo again!

This unit is in a small condo complex that is immaculately maintained and conveniently located to almost everything in Sanibel. Compass Point 222 was everything one could have hoped for. Comfortable, serene, and beautifully appointed. We felt like we were at home in this beautiful condo that is located just a few short steps from the beach. Kitchen was very well equipped, beds were comfortable and the decor was exceptional. The owners provided a detailed booklet outlining favorite restaurants, art galleries and must do places to see and visit while on the island. Break-Away vacations did a terrific job making sure our vacation was worry and stress free. We will certainly be back to enjoy another stay.
