A week on Sanibel we didn't want to end

We stayed at Tarpon Beach for a week in August with our two boys, and it was the highlight of our whole Florida trip. The location is hard to beat — a short stroll and you're on the sand, and the beach in front is quiet enough that the boys could shell and swim without us ever losing sight of them.

The apartment itself was spotless, comfortably set up for a family, and had everything we actually needed rather than just a list of amenities. Coffee on the balcony in the morning with the Gulf in front of you is worth the trip on its own.

It also makes a brilliant base. We cycled all over the island, kayaked the mangroves at Tarpon Bay, and did a boat trip over to Captiva — all easy from the door. Communication with the host was quick and friendly from the first message to check-out.

Genuinely nothing we'd change. We're already talking about coming back.

We had a great stay at this condo. It is furnished to a very high standard, spacious, well equipped and positioned right next to the beach. We had a wonderfully relaxed time and I really cant think of any way it could be improved. I would thoroughly recommend.

beautifully designed and welcoming condo sitting on the Gulf of America. Every aspect and detail of this newly remodeled condo has been thought of! We experienced phenomenal service from Breakaway Vacation Properties and will be renting from them again very soon!
