Golden Beach #2

Perfect place to relax and get much needed beach time. It would be hard to find a place that gives such amazing access to the beach with a fully unobstructed view from the living room. Recently rehabbed after Hurricane Ian with new furniture makes this very comfortable. Minor cleanup is still underway outside, but it is also an advantage because very little rental business is available on the rest of the island, which has really reduced the number of visitors on the island. This was our 5th visit to Sanibel/Captiva, and found the whole vacation experience what we wanted it to be: relaxation in a beautiful gulf front setting.

Great 3 day stay. Just sorry Ian had different plans.

We hadn't been to Sanibel in a LONG time, and as soon as we were back on the island, we remembered why we love it so! Couldn't ask for better! Breakaway Properties answered all our questions quickly and helped us out with our minor problems/questions. A BIG SHOUT-OUT to Lisa! She came to our rescue one day, going above and beyond to help us out for something that was a problem, but no one's fault! Thanks Lisa! The unit was beautiful! Clean, quiet and comfortable. And, so well appointed! And right on the beach with a great patio to enjoy it from as well! The kitchen had everything we needed for our week there and the furniture was comfortable including the beds! Everything was great! Drove off the island hoping to book this place again next year :)

My family and I rented Golden Beach #2 for the last week in august and we have nothing but good memories. The townhouse was very clean, spacious, and with a stellar location. The beach access was perfect and much closer than expected. The beach itself was lovely; nice white sand and clean blue water with minimal waves. Very peaceful area and not crowded at all. The pool in the complex was very well maintained and was very refreshing after a day at the beach. Dog friendly area we walked our beagle daily through the beach while we searched for seashells and watched the amazing sunsets. Take mosquito repellent for those afternoons where there isn't much sea breeze, on our last night we were bitten by no-see-um while on a sunset walk but the views were well worth it. The beds could use an update, they crack every time you move or sit but with this location we would gladly sleep on the floor if we had to. Wishing we were back at golden beach right now

Incredible views! So close to the beach! Very clean! Spacious! These are the requirements we look for to check off the list and this hit them all. This condo was very accommodating for fitting our unique situation of a family stay with grown children and finding ability for everyone to have their own spaces as well as the uniqueness of being right on the beach. The couch does pull out to a bed so also very helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Golden Beach 2 had everything you could ask for! The location was amazing. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets on the Gulf of Mexico. Accomodations were wonderful. The townhouse was clean and very well equipped

Golden Beach #2 is a very nice condo on the beautiful beach of Sanibel Island! We had a wonderful, relaxing week in a perfect location for shelling, sightseeing, dining, sunrises and sunsets. Breakaway Vacations is a tremendous property management company. Their response time was immediate for the few issues we encountered. One of their team members even offered the use of her convertible! They are a great example of attentive customer service. We would definitely book this property for a return visit.

We love Golden Beach #2. Incredible views. Clean, well maintained, beautiful. This is our 3rd year and we have already reserved next year.

This isn't our first time staying at this unit. In fact we have lost count over the years. But we keep on coming back because we really like it. The redecoration inside was done a few years back and it is really nice with tile floors in the kitchen, living area, and lanai, and a beautiful dark bamboo wood tone in the upstairs. It is a well designed unit with the bedrooms upstairs and an open living space downstairs with full view of the Gulf of Mexico. Even the main bedrooms upstairs also look out upon the water. We spent a week with our son, daughter-in-law and grandsons and really enjoyed it. We did need to rent an inflatable bed for the two youngest children, but that was no problem. Having the pool right next to the unit was a big hit with the kids who were swimming every chance that they could get. But being on the beach is the best, so that anyone could take a walk, take down some chairs and umbrella, or even swim in the waves as my son and boys did. If there is a minus, it's on the end of a gravel road which can get dusty at times, but not a problem for us. We enjoyed another great stay at Golden Beach #2 and will plan to be back again soon!

We have been to Sanibel many times. Condo was perfect for pur trip. Its really a duplex on the best part of Sanibel beach with amazing views.The condo is spacious and is perfect for families and couples.Beds comfortable and kitchen and bath updated. We were allowed to bring our dog, and Sanibel allows dogs on the beach! Highly recommend.

Well ... we loved our stay so much in August, that we had to return again last month (Nov.) for 2 weeks. Golden #2 is a delightful place to escape ... everything one needs to enjoy the perfect vacation ~ relaxation. Comfortable, private & quiet .... the beach right there. I found myself splitting days in half with the beach then the pool ... loved it!! Paradise ~ literally. Most appreciative for Kim's quick response to addressing our needs with professionalism. I certainly hope it won't be too long before we return .... Golden #2 has given us some wonderful memories and made our trips to Sanibel amazing! We look forward to making more, returning soon! Excellent place to escape .....

Enjoyed our wonderful two weeks. Managements was quick to address and of our questions or concerns.

Overall the property and amenities are fabulous, a great location with fabulous views. The only issue or concern I have is with the outdoor tiles by the front door and stairs. When I go to the beach I want the Beach! The condo is close enough to the water that I watched the sunrise with coffee in hand and sunset with a glass of wine. The complex is small and very nice. Everything was great and Management was super helpful!

The location of this condo is absolutely perfect! The view is spectacular from the deck and bedrooms. Beach was steps away!

This is a super 3 bedroom with a great lanai overlooking the gulf. Well appointed and very clean. Located on a secluded lane but close to everything. Kim was terrific and very responsive.
