Captivating

My family of 10 stayed in "Captivating" for a week and we had one of our best vacations together this summer. The house was gorgeous and there was plenty of room for all of us. The views of the water were magnificent and my son-in-law brought his boat so that we could go on the water to Cabbage Island. The pool was such a nice one that my daughter spent most of her time there. We loved the restaurants all close by in Captiva. It was a 5 plus star vacation!!

It was an exceptional house for our family (8). The views and wildlife were breathtaking. The armadillo family kept us entertained. A Manatee came right up to the dock. We really could spread out. The pool was fantastic. We spent much time in it. Some of us younger ones walked all over. I even walked to the Green Flash for dinner. Many great restaurants to eat at. Thank you for sharing your house with us. We had a great time.

The property is breathe taking. The location on the island is perfect, close enough to walk to Andy Rossee but far enough away not to hear the noise. The appliances and furniture are top notch and we had zero issues during our week. Our large group was a combination of Captiva veterans and first time visitors. Everyone agreed it was the best vacation we ever had. Breakaway was very easy to deal with and very responsive to any questions. I highly recommend!!!

Property is superb, amenities as well. Location as good as it gets. Directly on the bay, short walks to town and beach. Spacious, well equipped and superb technology.Outstanding for large families. Beautiful and large pool and spa. Spectacular gulf sunrises and views.Already Re booked. Kim and Breakaway Vacations first class service and response if and when needed. Highly recommend!!

We have been coming to Captiva for a few years, but decided this year, we wanted to get a house on the water.Waking up to having coffee on the porch was probably my favorite part of the trip. The views out back were absolutely outstanding. There were Manatee swimming by the dock all week, and the Pelican's were diving into the water around sunset every evening.This location was perfect. You were two houses down from the Green Flash (One of the better restaurants on the Island) and the store was just a block or two away.Like any vacation home that gets this many renters, it wasn't perfect. For example, one dishwasher wasn't screwed into the counter. So if you opened it with dishes, the rack would want to fall onto the floor. You could tell however that some recent renovations had been done to the back porch. When we were in the house, this was our living room, so the spotty items that were either outdated or needed a little TLC didn't bother us.The Master bedroom mattress was great. We slept really well all week long, and would actually set an alarm so we could see the sunrise.If you want to true Florida feel, this is the house for you. Palm trees, boats, wildlife all in view from this Oceanview home. We would absolutely rent this property again.Sincerely,

Our visit was amazing and we absolutely loved the home. What an exceptional location and setting! Our experience with the management company was prompt and professional. A few small things needed their help and they were right on it. Would definitely stay at Captivating again!

A vacation we won't forget. This home had everything for us. Pool, beautiful waterfront for fishing, proximity to town and beaches.....even a family of manatees that lived by the dock. It was an ideal getaway for our family and we can't wait to return!!!
