*7 ~ PO Box Suite ~ Jensen's "On the Gulf"

We,ve been coming to Captiva for years, a lot has changed due to the storms but Jensens is our favorite ! See ya next year !!

This cottage was perfect for our one night stay visiting Captiva for the first time. It was directly on the beautiful beach and within an easy drive of good restaurants. The ceiling fan, dehumidifier and TV all worked well. Beach chairs unbrellas and lounge chairs were provided. We enjoyed our time at Jensen cottages and look forward to visiting again.

Our place was so nice! It came equipped with a microwave, coffee maker & refrigerator! We had such a great time relaxing! We were within walking distance of some great restaurants & shops! If you're looking for a place to chill, you have come to the right place! Excellent communication with the owners.

Jensen's On The Gulf has given us years of vacationing enjoyment. We've never been disappointed despite the multiple hurricanes best attempts to do so. The people and businesses of Captiva are the best! Thanks for another great year!

The beach was wonderful and the sunsets were awesome! Shelling was good for it bring summer.

This small place was a nice surprise. We usually stay beachfront, but this place was perfect for our stay. We kept our bikes and standup paddle boards in the private courtyard. We enjoyed the path to the beach and the privacy of the beach.The bed and the accommodations were outstanding. The place really grew on us.

We have vacation on Captiva since the early 90's. Staying 1st at McCarthy's Marina then Jensen's Twin Palms. This was our 1st time staying directly on " The Gulf" .The room was totally remodeled after hurricane Ian. Only 90 steps to the ocean, what else is there to say! The room had a small, but good size fridge along with a Kruig coffee maker, microwave and toaster. Shower was more than adequate. They had a good supply of beach chairs and umbrellas for guest to use. Special thanks to Host/Owner Kim at Breakaway's for proving us with a remarkable/ memorable stay in P.O. We've been staying here for several years now and it has failed to let us down. Jensen's on the Gulf is a wonderful place and the Jensen's have left it in good hands with Breakaway. We look forward to many more visits. We are happy to see progress on the marina….CAPTIVA STRONG!

We've never stayed at Jensens on the Gulf but have always wanted to. We own some timeshares in the SSR and being they are not ready for use this was the perfect opportunity to try something new. The unit we stayed in was adorable and the beach location is prime!! We were steps away from the beach. There are tons of chairs, wagons, umbrellas and other beach items for use. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to stay again and try out another unit on the property.

The cottage was wonderful! Very clean and adorable. It's right on the beach and walking distant to a great restaurant. They have chairs, floaties, umbrellas, everything you need for the beach, it was fantastic! We will definitely be back to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay . Anything needed was just a phone call away. We look forward to visiting again.

What a perfect place to escape to!!! We loved this small cottage feel. Even big enough for two couples to play cards inside of in the very cool air conditioning early evening. Just steps from the beach without crossing traffic. We will definitely recommend highly to our friends and family. Thank you for an outstanding vacation!!!

I spent a long weekend at Jensen's On the Gulf ~ PO Box Suite and was impressed by the property. The suite was in pristine condition with no issues. All instructions that were provided was sufficient. And the location was great because of the easy access to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas are provided. The property is within walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. I would definitely stay at Jensen's PO Box Suite on my next visit to Captiva Island.

The cottage itself is spacious, well-laid out, and well-appointed. We especially appreciated the fridge/freezer size (not a dorm size but bigger). The bed was very comfy and had quality linens on it. The screened porch was a lovely bonus, giving us a bug-free, cozy place to play cards in the evening and lay some wet things out to dry. Our favorite part of staying in the P.O. Box Suite was definitely how quiet and private it was ~ away from the other rooms, no foot traffic, and our own parking area made this second honeymoon feel truly restful. Being able to walk out to the pristine, empty beach every day was the highlight of our trip. While we did a fair amount of driving around the island, every afternoon would find us back on “our” beach until sunset. A great value, great location, and the privacy and quiet were perfect. Cute secluded cottage with easy access to the beach. Great restaurants within driving range. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you.

We loved the villa - accommodations were great, and just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and grocery store.

Immaculate, beautifully decorated bungalow just steps from the beach and amazing sunsets. Will stay here every chance we can! We were just a quick walk to restaurants and stores but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. We loved every minute of our stay!

We selected Jensen's on the Beach because of its great location. But the website did not tell the whole story. Just a short walk from our front door to the gulf with no roads or busy traffic to worry about. They provided chairs, umbrellas and wagons to port everything to the beach. The PO Box 7 unit was beautifully landscaped and provided the perfect secluded hideaway. Kim met us at the property and we were very impressed with our studio which is plenty of room for two. We plan to return next year to celebrate our anniversary again and will be choosing this property again.
