*4 ~ Honeymoon Suite ~ Jensen's "On the Gulf"

Great location right on the beach. We could walk directly from our room to the waterfront. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels were all provided. We sat in the screened in porch and watched the abundant bird and sea life ( including dolphins) and the gorgeous sunsets. 

The room was very quaint but we enjoyed it.  The beach was perfect and so quiet. Would definitely go back!

My wife and I recently spent four nights at your property. I have to say that from the moment I reserved on-line, and throughout our entire stay, everything was really perfect. From the communications, to the rooms preparation for us, we could not be happier. Never having visited the area before, when we arrived we stood in awe of the amazing view as well. I believe our whole stay was spent on the screened balcony or we walked the 100 feet to the waters edge. Our mornings were spent walking the beach admiring the gulf and shell collecting and then we also walked to the shops nearby to purchase a few souvenirs. With the several great restaurants within a short walking distance, we couldn't have asked for a better location. Thank you for the most enjoyable stay. Phenomenal, relax in paradise! Unwind in your perfectly appointed suite with straight on Gulf views and a screened porch with ceiling fan making this your personal retreat! We spent most of our time shelling the quite uncrowned beaches with many rare finds! The property has everything needed for your total enjoyment during your visit, chairs, umbrellas, beach wagons, goggles, shelling tools, outdoor shower, Shell cleaning table and more! Great restaurants are a short walk or drive away. We had such a wonderful time sitting on the porch sipping cocktails in between shelling. And the sunsets are to die for. Not to forget the amazing staff. We were lucky enough to meet a couple who were owners. They are still working on updates after hurricane Ian. Such nice people! We will definitely be back we are looking forward to it!

My husband and I enjoyed an entire week in the Honeymoon Suite for my 40th birthday. It was exactly what we were looking for. Don't let the hurricane cleanup scare you. Actually, I see it as a plus. More beach for you. Lots of restaurants were opening back up on the island when we were there. You Can Not ask for a better location. Directly on the beach with beach chairs and umbrellas provided. When I say directly on the beach, I mean DIRECTLY on the beach. We only wore shoes and coverups once when we went to Sanibel for the grocery store. Captiva is beautiful. The shells are amazing. The beach is private and uncrowded. All of the rooms have a screened-in porch to watch the sunset or to read when you've had too much sun. We could even lay on the bed, leave the slider open, and feel and hear the ocean breeze. The room was updated and modern and so cutely decorated. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this is your spot! I will definitely go back!

Great place to stay

We absolutely fell in love with this lil' slice of PARADISE. We were celebrating our 7yr anniversary and Hubby's 50th Birthday and we couldn't have found a better place. The VIEWS are stellar, screened in porch was the place to be for morning coffee and evening wine. The room was fully furnished and the little kitchen area was just perfect. We had groceries delivered from Bailey's, walked down to Mucky Ducks daily for a cocktail and to watch sunset, also walked to dinner every night Key Lime Bistro, Green Flash, Doc Ford's...perfect location to everything! We also used the chairs and umbrellas provided. We had a FABULOUS beach get away and plan to return....5 STARS PLUS!!!!

We recently returned from a weekend getaway to Captiva Island. I originally booked "Jensen's on the Gulf" because my parents stayed there when it first opened in 1977! The location is superb...with easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Our Honeymoon Suite was well equipped and very comfortable and tasteful decor. It was the perfect location to capture morning sunrises on the bay or the gorgeous sunsets from our own private beach. We are looking forward to our next trip back!

The Honeymoon suite was amazing. The views were incredible especially at subset.The location was perfect, nice and quite, but walking distance from almost everything.Our room was perfect for the 2 of us. I would highly recommend to any couple wanting a nice peaceful get away.

I surprised my wife with a weekend anniversary stay. The view from the balcony was spectacular and she was so impressed. The room itself was clean, cozy, and well decorated. It had everything we needed for a quick getaway. The private beach access cannot be beat and the beach was spacious and beautiful. The only downside to our stay is that we couldn't stay longer, but we will be back again.
