We love the cottages!

Location of cottage and cleanliness were perfect!! Only suggestion is to have some baking pans for the oven. Loved our stay. ❤️

We enjoyed our short stay at #2 Sandpiper. The cottage is clean, well kept, well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

We vacation in SWFL twice a year and knew that if we stayed in Sanibel it would probably be tough to go anywhere else. Sandpiper was perfect. Great location. So quiet. Perfect size for 2 people. Interior and furnishings were ideal. Ive been to Sanibel several times but that area of beach is like being in a dream. If you dont like being around lots of people, this spot is for you. The sunsets.... wow. We tried to get back in December but it is already booked. We will hopefully try again next summer. Thanks so much.

Sandpiper was the perfect accommodations for our one night stay on Sanibel Island. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and morning coffee on the patio.

We came to a new area and we're so pleased with the cottage we stayed in. We will be happy to return. Saw a 3' iguana in our cottage backyard. The cottage layout was very nice. Thank you!

We loved the quaint Sandpiper cottage we stayed in for our honeymoon! It has everything you need and is just a quick bike ride to the private beach.We'll definitely come back!

This cottage was so cute, very clean and convenient to everything. It was the perfect size for me and had everything I needed in it. Loved the gazebo and alligator pond in the back of the unit (although I didn't see any). Also beautiful walk to the ocean, which was like having my own personal beach since no one was out there. Would stay there again.

Super clean cottage! Easy check in process. Literally two minutes bike ride from the beach, the bikes are provided at the cottage. Very clean, nice, quiet neighborhood. Nice laundry facilities. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a WONDERFUL, PEACEFUL AND RELAXING TIME! #2 Sandpiper was super clean and close to the beach. We will return!

We had a great weekend in Sanibel staying at the Sandpiper cottage. The cottage was adorable, clean and spacious enough for 2. We were able to park at the end of the street and then walk a short distance to the beach. The beaches are beautiful and shelling is fantastic.We used the bikes there and rode to Captiva. Would definitely recommend staying in one of the cottages for your Sanibel visit.We can't wait to return.

The Sandpiper is a beautiful cottage for your stay on Sanibel. We were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday and she absolutely loved every minute of it. Great place to stay!

Conveniences of a small cottage/apartment style get-away. Very cute and equipped and clean. Like the access to a bicycle whenever you want to use one! Plenty of towels and cleanliness of cottage was a treat!

All accoutrements needed...every detail down to a box of matches. Chill A/C two flat screens....big gator in pond behind back door...very cool...but watch out... bastard cheats at cards!!

A beautiful cottage that was just what we needed to celebrate a special milestone birthday. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations than what we received. The bicycle rides to the beach every day and evening for sunsets. Ding Darling NWR right across the street. Every where we ventured and ate was review worthy. We fell in love with #2 Sandpiper and Sanibel Island and look forward to getting back soon. Thank you!

We loved this little cottage and the uncrowded beach a short walk away. The gazebo by the pond was a nice shady respite and a great spot to watch wading birds and turtles. The house had everything we needed for an amazing beach vacation. It was comfortable, quiet and just a short bike ride away from Ding Darling.

Easy walk to the private beach with loads of seashells. We saw dolphins, turtles and many seabirds. Paradise!!

My wife and I stayed at the Sandpiper as our honeymoon homebase. It was a lovely experience. The house was just the right size for two people, and we even saw a gator in the backwaters. The amenities were great as well. We appreciated the grill, the free bikes, and the beach gear. My wife and I made good use of it. It was especially nice to be within walking distance to the beach. We were able to see the sunrise and sunset without needing to wake up particularly early or stay particularly late. The one issue was that the shower was rather small. It was rather tight for each of us!

My husband and I had an amazing weekend getaway in this adorable cottage. Everything was super clean and spacious. Parking for the property was easy to find. The instructions were clear from the property owner, Kim, and her directions to get to the cottage were great. Kim was extremely attentive and wonderful. I will definitely be staying again at the periwinkle cottages.

The cottage was a great mini-vacation. The property was clean and well kept. The location is outstanding! Near the beach, Ding Darling, and many restaurants. I didn't need to bring much since the property provided bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, and wagons. I plan to return many times more!

Hidden Gem!

After being quarantined for a few months, really wanted to get away just for a night not to far away from home. Found the cottages on line, the reservation process was very easy. An E Mail followed with all instructions needed to check in. The cottage was so nice, really wished now that I had booked for a 2nd night. Very clean, just like in the pictures on line. Cannot go wrong booking any of these cottages, very close to all that you want to see on the Island. Plan to book another visit soon for a longer period of time. Highly Recommend.

Cute, minimal, rustic spot with nice bikes to cruise to a private beach. Getting to know the neighbors was enjoyable, as it was close quarters. Despite a few bug bites here and there, and humidity from the rain, this little space was a nice little glamping spot to crash after a day of exploring the island. Sanibel and Captiva are breathtaking almost anywhere you are, but this place deserves 5 stars because of the customer service. Kim was very friendly and answered every message immediately:)
