*DW #2 Gumbo Limbo

We couldn't have asked for a better place! It was incredibly clean, spacious, amazing location and the staff at breakaway were very easy to work with. We will be back and definitely use breakaway again!

The 2 bedroom was clean and newly updated. They had beach wagon, seats and umbrella in unit. Lovely screenroom and bicycles ready to go. The walk to the beach is reasonable and lots of restaurants and bike trails everywhere.

Our cottage was the perfect place to stay while all the renovation was being done on the island! A short walk to the beach with a wagon to haul the chairs/umbrella/beach towels supplied by the Inn, along with SHELLS! We even got on the bikes for the first time in years. Loved the washer/dryer onsite. We should have brought our dog with us since the Inn actually has a GRASSY area for the pups to roam! We were very pleased with our stay and recommended you to a few folks! Thanks for a nice return visit to Sanibel!

Very nice. Old Florida atmosphere which we really enjoyed.

Very clean. Great to have four beach towels, chairs, umbrella, and wagon supplied. Bikes were awesome to have included too. Appreciated having washer and dryer. 

Enjoyed our cottage stay - clean, convenient to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Very well equipped. Manager very accommodating. Hopefully, Ian spared it!

We had such a great time during our stay! Our group of 4 had plenty of space for all of our belongings, and we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable the unit was! It is such a short walk from the beach, which we loved, and though there are lots of options for food on the island, the unit itself has all the basics needed for dining. The beds were comfortable and the screened in porch was really nice and well-stocked with fun beach things - pool noodles, floaties, a wagon. We didn't take advantage of the grill or bikes available but we will be sure to on our next visit. Thanks for having us!

Super accomodation with a fully equipped kitchen, beach accessories and barbecue, even clothe washing facilities. calm and quiet area and a fantastic beach. I can only recommend it.

Very convenient to everything Sanibel has to offer! Beach was close and beautiful! Collected a lot of shells! Definitely would return.

The Driftwood Cottage accommodations were excellent. Its location provided a quiet escape from the touristy activities on the island. Our family loved their stay there while on Sanibel. The Driftwood will definitely be our go to place for our next trip to the island.

We had never been to Sanibel before, and didn't really know what to expect or what to plan for for our family of 5 (3 boys 6-13). The location at Gumbo Limbo was absolutely perfect, loved being able to bike down to the beach in less than 5 minutes. Also close to shops and restaurants (even though we actually ate in for every meal).. which the kitchen was very well equipped. Also loved how we could do a little laundry while there as well. The back yard area was great, shady and private. Had all the beach toys/chairs and even a wagon to use which was awesome. The place was very clean and comfortable, we all had a great time!

This is an older property that has been restored and rejuvenated. The beds were very comfortable, the amenities we're lovely. The staff were very helpful. A very nice place to stay!

Nice cottage, the 2 bicycles were very convenient. Didn’t stay in much to watch tv but believe had firesticks on each tv. On site laundry was also very convenient & the equipment was very clean. Cottage overall was clean & enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful, Old Florida feel, with current amenities. Awesome vaction spot.
